Board of Directors

Interested in Being a Board Member?

To facilitate the election process, the governance committee is requesting that all members interested in serving on the board should:

  • review the board member job description
  • complete the board of director’s application
  • write a short statement of desire to serve

Email or drop by the Center for the needed materials. Please return all materials via email to or the Center. The application assists the governance committee in setting the slate for election. It is essential that board members have the skills and tools to manage the Center. Beneficial skills are listed on the application so applicants can identify the skills they have to share with the Center. We also have many opportunities to serve on committees, help at events, spruce up exhibits, and to improve the center.
