we live in! 

One of the three primary focuses of Woodlawn Nature Center is to provide educational opportunity for anyone interested in nature. We believe the best way to connect with the natural world is to learn about it.

Ongoing programming such as our self-directed educational program for kids that offers an alternative or enhancement to mainstream schooling is an example of how we endeavor to serve a diversely focused community.

Open Play days are often scheduled on school holidays to provide an option for folks to enjoy fun interesting activities with their children, grandchildren, or those in their care.

General educational and creative public programs include seasonal and other nature/environmental related topics and activities.

We are happy to design custom programs for groups who would like to visit our Nature Center and enjoy a specified focus based on attendees' interest.

Community input is vital to our programming strategy. Please tell us what you would like to learn about at Woodlawn Nature Center. We are open to anything related to our natural environment. And we would like to spread the word that everything actually is!
