Cement Plant Pots for Garden and Patio Display

Reuse to Make Something New

Cost: Members $3; Non-members $6

Join us for this hands-on creative make and take workshop. You will Learn how to use fabric draping techniques and reuse various items to make a cement plant container that is durable for outdoor use in your garden or on a patio. 


We will provide all the materials including potting soil and plants to complete your project.

This is a fun easy way to make your own pots that can also be used for making larger planters as-well. 


Masks will be required

Program is appropriate for ages 14 and older


Recommended protective clothing

Long Sleeve Shirt

Heavy Apron 

Rubber Gloves

Covering Footwear (not sandals)


Woodlawn Learning Community Programs

Experience Woodlawn Fridays: Noon - 4 pm

The program is complimentary to Members.

For non-members the fee is $5 per person or $15 for a group of 3 or more.


An Opportunity for Kids of All Ages to Discover, Experience, & Learn


Come explore the outdoors at Woodlawn Nature Center. Indoor activity is currently limited. Dress to enjoy your outdoor adventures. Masks and social distancing are required. We have handwashing and sanitizing resources available for participants.


We will have games and activities set up. However participants may follow their own focus for what they want to do. All ages are welcome. Presence of a parent or caregiver is required to watch over younger children. Come and go as you please or as your schedule allows.
